The art of medicine practiced at these surgerys is better known as Yuanani (Greek), which of course refers to the fact that it is a deraviative of ancient roman/greek medicine, which was in vogue with the Arabs when they first arrived in these regions.

I’m not exactly sure – I was roaming around saddar, from what I remember this was nearing the part that borders on Lyari.
I have a couple of other pictures of the area, some of them perhaps more useful for historickarachi – as soon as i’ve recovered from a hard disk failure, ill put them up if you want to use them.
